Every Challenger comes with insulated one-piece fiberglass roof construction- that means no joins and no leaks. Other features include an internal aluminium fame for extra strength and support, a fully enclosed stainless steel lifter system that will never rust or jam, a full fiberglass wrap with high-gloss Gell-coat finish on the walls and one piece flooring, no joins. The walls are constructed with fiberglass inner and outer skins, filled with structural foam, giving greater strength and superior insulation properties.

The Challenger is loaded with features that make a camper unique in value, including an elegantly designed entry door in bonded aluminium construction with sliding Perspex window, full-length hinging system for easy assembly and operation, superior sealing and top-bottom latch mechanism, Inside, outstanding workmanship is combined with quality fittings and appliances to provide living and sleeping comfort for up to six adults.

The Challenger Advantage, Challenger and Bush Challenger Canvas: All canvas material used on Golf products complies with AS 3576-1988: AS 2001.2.3.1-01, Appendix B, AS 2001.2.10-1986, AS 2001.2.17-87, AS 2001.3.1-1998, AS 2001.3.6.1-1998, AS 2001.3.6.2-1998 and AS 2001.4.1995. All PVC material (attached to canvas) complies with AS.

Avan allow an amount of additional weight (Carrying Load) for each individual unit manufactured above the initial manufactured Tare Weight of the unit. This 'Carrying Load' is for the customers individual weight requirements and can be made up of 'any' additional weight they propose to load the unit up of. ie water, food, clothes etc. The standard unit carrying load Avan applies is: Single Axle; 300kg. Outback travel heights increase by 250mm. The tare and tow ball weight is only a guide and will change depending on accessories which are fitted to your van. it is advisable to discuss with your Avan representative.
